At Uchida, we boast 55 years of honed experience in carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and composite material product manufacturing. Often referred to as carbon or dry carbon, carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) will vary in compatibility with the application environment and facilities depending on the profile of the manufactured product, production volume, and fabrication lead times. Our diverse variety of molding facilities and equipment, including large-scale autoclave, RTM, Va-RTM, press machines, and FDM 3D printers designed to mold carbon fiber, offers added capacity to meet varying demands and provide solutions for a range of product profiles, costs, and production volumes.

Short Turnarounds and Low-cost Development

All our processes are completed in-house to eliminate the need for intermediate processes and mold transfers. This results in shorter turnarounds without unnecessary added costs in development.

Development Together and In-person with Our Customers

At Uchida, we proactively encourage customer involvement and in-person visits during production. While the manufacturing industry tends to keep details of intermediate processes and production methods hidden tightly behind closed doors, at Uchida, our thinking is different. We firmly believe that prototype development is a collaboration with our customers and therefore encourage you to attend meetings to identify production issues and partake in discussions toward cost reductions.
